Auctioneers note: Hudson Municipal Electric Utility (HMUE) has been sold to Mid America Energy Corporation. The sale creates personal property and real estate to be sold which was not included within the acquisition. HMUE board of directors has elected to sell the remaining assets at absolute auction. The auctions will occur on separate dates and using separate technics. The personal property will be sold using the real time virtual auction technique. There will be no bidding on site. The bidding platform will be proxibid.com. The real estate will be sold on a separate date using the live on-site technique. The location will be at the HMU office building. No Internet bidding will be available. HMEU serviced overhead and underground electrical cables, transformers, meters, switch gear and general municipal utilities.
